Full-time Patrol Officer

Position Objectives:

The City of Battle Lake is accepting applications for a full-time Patrol Officer.  

 Battle Lake, Minnesota, is a charming small town located in the heart of Otter Tail County, nestled between several pristine lakes, making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Minimum qualifications: Associate Degree in Law Enforcement or related field; valid FT MN POST license or eligible for FT POST licensing; valid MN driver’s license; must pass a background check and both a physical and psychological exam.

 The 2025 10-step structure range starts at $28.71/hour to $37.46/hour. For candidates with prior experience an increased starting step scale point may be available depending upon the length of experience and the types of training and certifications held.

• Optional self-pay insurance includes life, accident, vision, flex spending, etc. These companies include Aflac and Colonial Life Benefits.
